About Tea's ATP
Tea's Area Transportation Plan (TATP) will serve as a set of recommendations and guidelines for the future development of transportation infrastructure such as roads, bike lanes, and walking paths in the community. The plan will assess current conditions and create projections to figure out where we are and where we should go.
The TATP will build upon and support the vision being developed in Tea's Comprehensive Plan Update.
This Plan is a collaborative effort between the City of Tea, Lincoln County, South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT), Sioux Falls Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), surrounding communities, the public, and study stakeholders.
Take our Survey!Study Objectives
Identify current and potential transportation issues and needs facing the Tea area.
Involve and engage the travelling public in the planning process.
Develop feasible solutions to address the issues and needs that meet current design standards and/or traffic ‘level of service’ expectations for current and future traffic conditions. Solutions will seek to promote a livable community that will enhance the social and economic well-being of Tea area residents and preserve the social and environmental character of the region.
Create final products for use by the City of Tea, Lincoln County, SDDOT, Sioux Falls MPO, and surrounding communities, which will provide guidance to implement recommended improvements and proactively integrate future development plans within the area.
